Skill                : Oracle SCM Functional Consultant (Manufacturing/ BOM/ Shipping/ INV)

Location         : Greer, South Carolina

Duration        :  3-6+ months Contract

 

We are looking for a resource who can travel to Greer, South Carolina location.

 

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of strong experience in Oracle SCM.
• Bring in process improvements in the Warehouse at our Greer facility to support our Manufacturing line, Receiving and Shipping operations.
• Resolve issues around BOM effectivity due to part cut-in/replacement process.
• Arena is our PLM system and we're in need of a process in Oracle to remove the pain associated with the part cut-in process.
• Part number or Part revision changes cause a lot of issues in Oracle w.r.t Planning, Manufacturing and Inventory Management.
• Assume that Oracle has to work within the constraint that we cannot change any processes in PLM. Try to come up with solutions in Oracle ERP for these issues where the long-term solution might be to change the entire business process starting with PLM.
• Resolve EDI issues in ASN and AR invoicing (856/810).
• Currently, business rules requested by our customers are not enforced by Oracle causing EDI 856/810s to be rejected. While this sounds like an EDI issue, it stems from how we pick, pack and ship their orders. better processes within Oracle ERP to manage, ship and invoice our sales orders.
