SAP HANA Database Administrator

• Monitoring of database jobs and handling exceptions.
• Monitoring the health of the database servers and storage/memory utilization.
• Ensuring that the database servers are tuned for maximum performance for the application mix.
• Loading data into the database and extracting data for ad-hoc reports.
• Database Backup, Restore and disaster recovery.
• Working with application developers in designing high-performance client-server and web applications.
• Designing and developing SQL scripts, stored procedures and triggers.
• Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments.
• Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
• HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
• Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
• HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
• SAP Business Objects and HANA integration, CAR integration and BW related Hana Knowledge.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery DB server setup, high availability and backup mechanism.
• Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
