📌 Position Overview
Seeking an experienced QA Automation Analyst 3 to support testing and quality assurance efforts across multiple software environments.
The candidate will be responsible for manual and automated testing, defect tracking, test case development, and quality validation to ensure reliable and high-quality software releases.
💻 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts
- Create test plans, test cases, and UAT test scenarios
- Align testing activities with business requirements and system functionality
- Track test execution and generate test reports
- Log and manage defects using Jira
- Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Conduct API testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, or similar tools
- Perform multiple testing types including:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- System Testing
- Stress & Performance Testing
- Support development teams across Dev, Test, and UAT environments
- Participate in Agile sprint cycles
- Coordinate UAT schedules and test readiness reviews
- Provide go/no-go recommendations for releases
🛠 Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
- 8+ years knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- 8+ years experience using Xray Test Case Management
- 8+ years SQL experience performing CRUD operations
- 8+ years experience using CI/CD pipelines for testing processes
- 8+ years experience with API testing (Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter)
- 8+ years experience with QA automation using UFT
📊 Additional Technical Experience
- Defect tracking and management using Jira
- Requirements traceability and quality reporting
- Test management and documentation using SharePoint
- Performance testing and analysis
- Knowledge of code coverage tools
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming concepts (preferred)

- Experience working with State of Texas HHSC systems
- Experience supporting Agile Scrum teams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
