Hiring: Senior Database Administrator (Oracle / Cloud) 

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Duration: 1200 Hours (05/01/2026 – 08/31/2026)

Interview Type- In Person (Face to Face)

Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

This role focuses on advanced database administration, cloud migration, and performance optimization within a modern Agile environment.

 

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle & SQL Server databases
• Lead on-prem to Oracle DB@Azure cloud migration
• Implement performance tuning & monitoring solutions
• Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Administer Oracle GoldenGate for data replication
• Automate workflows using Oracle Database Jobs
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment

 

✅ Required Skills

• 10+ years in Database Administration
• Strong expertise in Oracle & MS SQL Server
• Experience with performance tuning & database design
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications & Agile (Scrum)
• Knowledge of multi-tier architecture (SOA / Microservices)

 

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience with Azure (migration, ETL, Azure SQL)
• Experience with Power BI & DevOps (CI/CD, Git)
• Exposure to large-scale, high-availability systems
• Certifications in Azure / DBA (nice to have)
