Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days Onsite / Local candidates required)

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior-level Power BI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive data visualization, dashboard creation, and analytics strategies for key business initiatives. The ideal candidate brings expert-level technical knowledge of Power BI and DAX, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of complex Power BI dashboards and reports.

 

• Write complex DAX expressions, custom measures, and optimize Power BI performance.

 

• Connect to multiple data sources, build robust data models, and ensure data integrity across reports.

 

• Provide technical leadership and SME-level guidance to stakeholders and junior team members.

 

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions.

 

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Expert Power BI: Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and workspace management.

 

• Data Modeling: Strong experience with relational database design, star schema, and snowflake schema.

 

• SQL: Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformations, and data validation.

 

• Communication: Ability to explain complex technical insights to non-technical business leaders.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Snowflake).
