Roles and responsibilities:
Ensure the correct use of the scrum process.
Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
Conduct the system configuration, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation verification according to an Agile methodology.
Manage the product backlog and sprint cycles to resolve system defects and address product backlog items, including mandatory optional requirements that were not included in the initial release.
Update all system documentation, including requirements and business rules, when system updates are deployed to reflect the current production system.
Provide ongoing scrum team support for subsequent releases to incorporate mandatory optional requirements, resolve defects, and address backlog items.
Forecast the number of deliverables possible in an iteration which is based on evidence and reliable sources.
Conduct accurate estimation and planning.
Assist with conflict resolution.
Provide coaching in Agile practices.
Help a team or individual clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
Track and remove impediments.
Perform other duties as required
Mandatory Skills:
A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a scrum master in a large-scale IT system development project with a contract value over $5,000,000.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience as a scrum master in large-scale IT system integration projects with a contract value over $1,000,000.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in leading geographically distributed virtual teams with at least 10 team members.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working on an Agile or Hybrid Agile development project.
A minimum of one industry project management certification, including: Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
SAFe Agilist certifications
