Role:

Role:Java Back-end Developer

Duration:1+ year contract

Location:Dallas,TX(locals only)

 

The ideal candidate would be a proven Back-end/Server-side developer. Solid experience writing Services and Daemons in a SOA environment with a focus on Multi-threading and database to object modeling.

 

Note: Product has a very limited GUI. The majority of the development is on the server side. Candidates should be focused on back-end vs. client-side development.

 

Required:

Experience in Java

Experience in Java Spring

Experience in OO Analysis and Design

Experience in Supporting/Debugging existing software

Experience in Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle

Experience in Eclipse

Experience in JDBC

Back-end Developer

IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

Solid verbal communication skills

Beginning to develop Leadership skills and success using skills

Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases

Demonstrated ability to work well with most Customers at multiple levels (Leadership and Non-Leadership) and proven success doing so

Ability to work well in a Team environment

Proven ability to work well in cross-organizational Teams

 

Preferred:

Experience in Distributed Computing (Corba, Web Svcs, JMS, RMI)

Experience in UML

Experience in Unix - Shell scripting, VI, utilities

Experience in ClearCase

Experience in ANT

Experience with Agile/Scrum

Experience in CORBA

Experience in Tivoli

Experience in Visio

Experience in Web Services

Experience in DB Visualizer

Experience in Maven

Experience in Messaging/JMS - MQ and Tibco
