Role:Sr.IT Security Enguineer

Duration:6+Months

Location:Newyork city,NY

Qualifications/Skills Requirements: • The successful candidate has a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) a plus • Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) a plus • Knowledge of PCI DSS 2.x preferably • Strong hands on knowledge in routing, switching and security • Must have experience in Juniper/Cisco/Checkpoint/Netscreen in a large scale environment • Experience managing / administering enterprise firewalls/routers/switches/VPN/wireless • Detailed knowledge of the OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol stack  • Tactical hands on knowledge in the management of security devices • Experience in 24 x 7 production high availability environments is a definite plus. • Professional security certifications such as: ISC2, ISACA, SANS, Cisco, are preferable • Knowledge of SIEM / enterprise correlation and collection tools • Knowledge of network routing and security protocols. • Strong knowledge in Windows, most flavors of *nix, OSX. • Project Management Skills • Works independently as well as collaboratively with minimal professional and managerial supervision. • Able to function independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision • Strong problem solving skills • Excellent personal time management skills • Excellent interpersonal & communication (with all levels of the organization) • Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly • Ability to handle sensitive/delicate issues and perform in stressful situations
