Job Title : SQL Application Developers
Location : Cleveland, OH
Duration ; 6 Months
Max rate is $45/1099 an hour.
I need people that you hold the visa..no multi company deals..please!

 

Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents database solutions to business problems. Researches and analyzes data to meet business needs. Research and formulate solutions to deal with production issues. Works with minimal supervision or direction. Ability to take a leadership position on technical development issues; acts as a resource to Programmer Analysts I.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
> • Research how systems are used and look at ways to improve use and efficiency.
> • Participate in project management related to development efforts.
> • Design database solutions / technical requirements from business requirements.
> • Work with IT and business to understand requirements.
> • Develop a test plan from the business and technical requirements.
> • Create databases, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, stored procedures and SSIS packages from technical and business requirements.
> • Manage technical project resources and work resource work loads
> • Ensure technical development meets timelines and communicates timely any delays
> • Lead medium to large technical development efforts and facilitate technical design meetings
> • Mentor Programmer Analyst I
> • Other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Skills / Experience
> • Experience working with large and/or complex data sets.
> • Minimum of 3 years experience in application development using SQL, SSIS.
> • Strong knowledge of system development lifecycle concepts.
> • Ability to multi-task.
> • Ability to improve and streamline code.
> • Thorough understanding of relational database design.
> • Excellent understanding of SQL and set based logic.
> • Thorough understanding of ETL processes, particularly SSIS.
> • Full understanding of software testing.
> • Experience in performance tuning including reading / understanding query plans and creating indexes.
> • Ability to analyze data and determine relationships and dependencies from raw data.
> • Experience in programming with VB script and VB.Net or C#.
> • Excellent organizational skills.
> • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
> • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
> • Experience working with large data sets a plus.

 

Beneficial Skills/Experience
> • Claims experience a plus.
> • Detail oriented.
> • Strong knowledge of MSOffice Suite of applications.
> • Strong knowledge of Visio,Ultra Edit and Ultra Compare
>
> Education / Training
> • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience

 

> Experience with .NET Framework 2.0 or higher and C#. Experience developing in a Microsoft Windows environment. Good knowledge of Object Oriented design, design practices, and programming techniques. Able to handle multiple tasks. Excellent organizational skills. VB.NET; SSIS; JavaScript; VBScript; Strong knowledge of MSOffice Suite of applications; Experience with ETL processes; Claims/PBM experience.

 

> Work with IT and business to understand requirements. Perform coding and testing of software solutions. Generate specifications for design and development from business requirements. Develop a unit test plan from the business requirements. Analyze data formats and parsing of data. Aid in the design and development of databases
