Role & Responsibilities Preparing Technology Plan and roadmap with a 3-5 year vision Partnering with customer Technology and Business teams to understand current landscape and proposed future state Awareness of emerging trends in technologies and ability to evaluate relevance to customers business needs Devising best practices at strategic, tactical and operational level for implementation of solutions Assist management in the development of Standards, Principles and Guidelines Governance to ensure that projects are aligned with Technology Roadmaps and standards. Ability to handle conflicts when they arise Interface with project stakeholders Represent the team as required Communicate with peers and supervisors routinely, document work, meetings, and decisions Work within a Project Team environment Understand and promote quality policy Requirements Must Combined experience of Auto + IT of more than 8 years A dynamic experienced IT Expert along with Enterprise Architecting experience. Auto domain experience will add value Strong Experience in designing and implementing IT solutions for Automotive Industry (ERP/Non-ERP/Plant Automation-MES etc.) Deep understanding of Industry Verticals along with Automobile Value Chain Ability to Conceptualize and Architect Domain/Industry specific Solutions Experience in Data modeling and understanding of BI-DW solutions/capabilities Demonstrated domain strength acquired through experience of working in Auto Industry for 8+ years Ability to offer Operational Consultancy / Business Process Advisory on multiple Auto sub-practices or specialized areas (such as Supply chain management, Warranty Management, Manufacturing, After Sales Service) Ability to connect with senior management and business users of Auto Industry and understanding of business challenges/pain areas; along with a fair understanding of technology capabilities/IT Systems and applications and leveraging them for business Preferred: TOGAF Certification; Automobile/Production Industry Background
