Role: Sr. Systems Analyst/Data Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Your future duties and responsibilities

The Sr. Systems Analyst will work with a team of systems analysts, project managers, and/or other technical resources charged with developing technical requirements and documenting them for application development project(s). The Senior Systems Analyst will work with the business unit or other subject matter experts to identify or refine technical requirements for applications under development or being revised.

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 8+ years in relevant field
• Strong experience in defining features, decomposing features into stories, writing user stories and performing backlog grooming with the scrum development team.
• Strong experience with business process analysis, data mapping and analysis, and requirements gathering, elaboration, and documentation.
• Demonstrated experience with stakeholders/SMEs engagement to understand needs and translate them into requirements.
• Ability to effectively and proactively manage priorities, timelines, and key deadlines.
• Prior experience with Scrum methodology.
• Prior experience in documenting test scripts and performing UAT.
• Prior experience with documenting process flows, UI Mockups/prototypes, and related tools such as MS Visio
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work independently as well as in a dynamic matrix team environment to provide support to the product owners.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL, Excel, and XML to perform data analysis and mapping.
• Ability to train, coach, and assist end-user community is preferred, ability to document release notes.
• Knowledge in AWS tech stack and SQL, XML, T SQL, ETL
