Position Summary: 

 

CEDC is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with proven experience in ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, C#.Net, LINQ, Oracle and Entity Framework.  Using current development standards, this person should be able to create secure external facing web-based applications, internal infrastructure and required databases.  The ability to build and consume web services to integrate with other systems is required.  The candidate should be able to design and create database tables and structures, database views, functions, and stored procedures, while maintaining data quality and security.  The candidate should have experience in upgrading the .Net frameworks to latest .Net frameworks for existing applications. 

  

- Develop enhancements or new features using C#, VB, ASP.NET MVC, .NET CORE, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS3, HTML5 and Visual Studio 2017 or newer. 

- Experience in upgrading the application to newer .Net frameworks. 

- Design Oracle and SQL database, tables, views. Write database functions and stored procedures. 

- Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. 

- Executes all required process steps. 

- Creates and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers. 

- Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. 

- Work in an agile team environment. 

- Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps. 

- Strong communication skills; both written and spoken. 

  

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

 

- 8+ Years: Development of Information Technology solutions 

- 3+ Years: ASP.NET MVC 

- 5+ Years: C#.NET 

- 5+ Years: Oracle 

- 5+ Years: Microsoft SQL 2012 or newer 

- 5+ Years: ASP.NET 3.5 or greater 

- 5+ Years: UI Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery) 

- Visual Studio 2017 or newer 

- Azure DevOps 

- 5+ Years: Entity Framework and LINQ 

- 2+ Years: Azure CI/CD 

- 5+ Years: .Net framework 4.5 or newer
