Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12 Months

 

Client is seeking a Software Engineer/Cloud Architect to join the Applications Development and Maintenance (ADM) team. ADM develops applications and information systems that support Client's critical business operations. We work in collaboration with Client's business areas to create and maintain automated applications which best serve their evolving needs.

Position will start as a six-month contract role with potential to compete and be selected through the open-competitive selection process for a full time employee position. Candidates interested in a career providing services and support for a robust labor market and helping people get back to work should apply. Perform advanced computer programming work with Client to develop web applications for Client's external users. Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients. Documents current processes, reviews written specification additions/modifications and creates test cases for submitted defects involving new and modified program policies. Analyze, design, and develop logical, structured programs and systems appropriate to customer needs which are well-documented programs and that may be maintained by others. Ensure adherence to program documentation and procedural standards, and management goals and objectives.

 

Worker Skills and Qualifications:

Worker should be qualified to serve as a "Cloud Solutions Architect, Level 2" under the DIR IT Staff Augmentation Contract guidelines.
