Sr Hadoop Admin – Architect ( CDH-CDP )

Remote

We have a project with a customer that is looking for support with a  CDH to CDP Private Cloud Base upgrade.  2/28 start 10 days.

Upgrade planning and Security Review [2 weeks] · Assist with the planning of the Upgrade to Cloudera Data Platform Private Cloud Base (PvC Base) · Review cluster architecture design, components design, configuration, jobs, and clients · Consult and assist with documenting / review of the standard current cluster performance metrics and SLAs. · Review current CDH security implementation and assist in the implementation of necessary changes · Review cluster operation challenges including frequently occurring issues and SLAs · Consult and assist with developing the end to end CDP PvC Base upgrade plan including the prerequisites and remote access · Consult and assist with determining the infrastructure required and gain concurrence with the customer · Jointly create application testing plans and support in identifying all customer resources Assist in resolving all known cluster issues before the upgrade starts to bring all services to green state

 

Must also have App/Data experience with Atlas, Ranger, Security
