SDET Engineer/Automation Engineer

Dallas, TX

 

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in automated testing
• Experience in testing GUI/Web Services/APIs is must.
• Experience in working with the Behave framework
• Experience of relational databases and SQL/NoSQL is plus.
• Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, CSS.
• Experience in process automation is a must.
• Familiarity with entire software development life cycle, defect life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity) is must.
• Previous experience of SDWAN technologies, network circuit design and provisioning concepts is preferred.
• Deploy and maintain the software on a cloud infrastructure.
• Web-API testing
• Knowledge of NoSQL (like Cassandra, Disco DB etc.)

 Responsibilities:

• Working on migration of the vSG test scenarios to the UAF-Hiro Framework.
• Understanding upcoming features and automating the test cases in UAF Framework.
• Participating in all sprint activities – standup, grooming, planning and retrospectives.
• Write and edit complex, automated test code, in accordance with specifications and technical requirements, maintaining automation codebase in a version control system (Git).
• Perform functional and syntax reviews of automation code.
• Working with other QE engineers to drive automation and CI/CD tools and framework
