Job Description:
Technical Skills:
Must have worked on projects involving migration of datacenter from cloud to cloud or on-prem to cloud or one datacenter to another datacenter.
Experience on Network Convergence/ Transformation projects involving integration of Core Data Network,
Ability to design, configure and implement Routing and Switching technologies, MPLS/SD-WAN, Network Security, Data Center networks firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, load balancers, WAAS/ WAF and Proxy.
In depth knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.), MPLS, QoS, Multicast, VPLS and VPRN.
Experience on cloud technologies to design and implement Firewalls, Gateway, Load Balancers, on AWS and Azure.
Experience on Datacenter technologies like ACI, NSX, Leaf & Spine and SDN technologies.
Understanding of SD-WAN concepts Viptela, Velo Cloud Deployment of SD WAN physical and virtual on sites and integration with Azure, AWS, etc.
Cisco/Juniper/VMware LAN/WAN technologies (Routing & Switching) and Aruba/Cisco/Meraki Wireless technologies.
Firewall Technologies from Cisco/Palo A lot/Fortinet/Checkpoint
Load Balancing technologies from F5 & NetScaler
MPLS technologies, SD-WAN Technologies from Cisco Viptela/ Silver Peak, VeloCloud / Versa.
Process Skills:
Accurately define a client problem, Interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge
Work as other Subject Matter Expert of Network planning, design, build, test, and deployment activities for Network Transformation projects.
Develop HLD/LLDs for Enterprise networks factoring in Customer requirements, scalability, adaptability, and Industry best practices.
Develop equipment specifications, configurations and design documentation Assist with network testing proof-of-concept or network validation.
Innovation Management: Embrace innovation and drive IT partners to create, plan and implement innovative network and security infrastructure based on approved concepts, designs and according to IT policies and guidelines.
Working with project and development teams to ensure solutions are aligned with support requirements and that the transition and delivery of new systems or upgrades are seamlessly transitioned to production support teams and suppliers.
Behavioral Skills :
Ability to effectively manage relationships with other infrastructure teams, application teams, stakeholders, business, and customer representatives.
Organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation, and target dates.
Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills
Must know when to ask for assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment.
Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.
Proven ability to influence the definition of technical strategies and design solutions.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
8+ years of relevant experience in design and implementation with good analytical skills.
Must have excellent communication skills, flexibility to travel and run the show as individual contributor
Certifications like CCDP, CCNP, CCIE (R&S), Checkpoint, Paloalto, Fortinet
