Staff Mandatory Qualifications for Information Security Specialist:

·        Minimum 6 years of experience performing Information Technology role in a technical capacity.

·        Minimum 2 years of in-depth experience in at least five of the following technical areas:

o   Development of system architecture

o   Hardware and software specifications

o   Network designs

o   Security analysis

o   System administration set-up

o   Specialized information technologies training

o   Security accreditation and Testing

·        Minimum five years of experience analyzing Information Security procedures & design the resolutions

·        Minimum three years of experience analyzing IT specifications to access Security risks

·        Minimum three years of experience working on designing security protocols for handling PII and other sensitive data

·        Minimum three-year OS experience performing information security compliance for multiple data sources

·        Minimum of three years of experience with designing and implementing Access Management solutions preferably IBM Access Manager

·        Minimum of three years of experience with design & implementation of Single Sign-On solutions

·        Minimum of three years using Information Security Analytics tool like Splunk, McAfee, etc.

·        Minimum three years of experience in design & implementation of Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solution

·        Minimum of three years of experience in application vulnerability testing using simulations in both Static Applications System Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application System (Testing)

·        Minimum of three years of experience with enterprise-wide Anti-virus software solutions

Staff Desirable Qualifications:

·        Possess a Certified Information Systems Security Profession (CISSP) for five years.  Must provide copy of certificate - 50 points

·        Minimum of five years of experience conducting business process re-engineering activities - 50 points

·        Minimum two years of experience in California's Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process - 50 points

·        Over four years of FTE experience in writing and developing technical documentation utilizing Agile DevOps methodology - 50 points

·        Hold a current non-expired Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification - 50 points

·        Hold a current non-expired Salesforce Certified Solution Architect certification - 50 points

·        Demonstrated experience with State of California Office of Information Security direction on Information Security program standards and policy templates - 50 points
Experience with Identity Access Management tools - 50 points
