Position: Software Developer with Apache SOLR
Location: Fairfield, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Interview Mode: Telephonic
Qualifications/Experience:
- 6+ years professional software development experience.
- 3+ years with Apache SOLR Proficient use of SQL and data modeling.
- Innovative drive and experience coupled with quick mastery of new technology, language, or development environment.
- Self-motivated, naturally curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other senior engineers, management, and our development partners to achieve optimal application architecture and design.
- Management and development of multi-core SOLR architecture and integration with a variety of back-end platforms
- Develop efficient, secure applications, peer-review code, and document solutions.
- Communicate proactively with teammates, infrastructure, security, and quality assurance to continuously improve processes and engineering excellence.
- Act as a SOLR subject matter expert and assist colleagues to deepen their understanding of SOLR
