Position: Solutions Architect

Location: Eagan, MN

Interview: Tuesday June 4^th

Start: June 10^th

Interview process: Phone/ Skype Hire. 

 

Must-haves

- Ability to create a thorough Solutions Architect document
- Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM)
- Actionary mind in Architecture Principles: Take Initiative!
- Experience with SAS, SOA, ETL, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence

 

Plusses

- Healthcare Exchange experience
- Distributed Mainframe knowledge
- SOA background

 

Day-to-Day

1. BPM - Expert in Enterprise Architecture, understanding overall billing initiatives, ability to lead team in best practices
2. Claims - Understanding of STAR (formally, Nasco's tool - proprietary to BCBS), processing claims, understanding mainframe
3. Risk Management - Understanding government programs (Medicare, Medicade) and risk adjustments, Risk Corridor (ETL tool and Data Warehouse) & selection process in payments
4. Correspondence - Ability to work with Message Broker, HP Printing and Batch Files
5. Billing - Understanding billing processes for individuals and small groups insurance, Understanding MembersEdge/Nasco Solutions is a plus, Finance (SAP, general ledger, EFT files, mainframe)
6. Infrastructure - IBM Stack knowledge (Message Broker, Data Power, BPM, WTX), understanding development implementation and deployment views
7. Membership - Understanding enrollment processes, Experience with Exchange or Portal Processes Environments, or Small Group insurance are plusses
