We have a requirement for the following position:

 

Position: COGNOS TOOL ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Mettawa IL

Duration: 6+Mths

Interview: Phone & F2F

 

 

 Cognos Tools Administrator  This individual will be responsible for the server side of work, rather than the pulling and running of BI reports.

 

Daily responsibilities will include doing installation and configuration of Cognos BI environment with AIX/Linux, administering Cognos 8.4/Cognos 10, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Top Skills:Experience with installation and configuration of Cognos Experience administering Cognos 8.4.1/ Cognos 10 environment  AIX/Linux environment

 

Plus Skills :- Security setup with LDAP (ex. Active Directory) - Understanding of Cognos architecture - Performance tuning - Upgrading from Previous version of Cognos to Cognos 10 - Experience in Framework manager, Report Studio, PowerPlay Studio, Query Studio - AIX scripting - Monitoring and troubleshooting Cognos Serverside issues - DB2 and Oracle skills - Exposure to TM1
