Role: HP Storage Lab Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 3+ Months

JOB DETAILS:

• PowerShell  scripting knowledge
• Hands on with HP servers(DL series), storage(P2000/MSA) MPIO LUN mapping and networking devices(Switches Infini band Procurve etc)
• Should have conceptual understanding of Active Directive services and DNS windows registry SQL server 2012
• Should have hands on experience with Windows server virtualization Hyper-v environment.
• Data Center Racking Configuration cabling experience
• Writing/Documenting experience white papers technical documents etc.
• Should have prior customer interaction experience
• Resource to support the PDW engineering lab and hands-on equipment setup, installation, qualification, debugging and support.
• This would include some of the following job responsibilities:
• Lab equipment and internal PDW environment supportb.
• PDW Support Pack engineering support
• PDW lab on-site engineer
• Customer post-sales supporte. Service Delivery Guide validation testing (PDW Add Capacity/Add Region validation testing)

 Skills:

• Strong HP hardware background and experience working hands-on with HP servers, storage and networking devices
• Experience deploying and maintaining HP FW/Drivers, Hands on with HP servers(DL series)
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows 2012 and Windows PowerShell
• QA experience and expertise a plus (defining test and qualification plans, executing against test plans, etc)
