Job Description:                                                                                                               

has a great SharePoint Engineer opportunity in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the support and maintenance of assigned distributed systems application. Limited enterprise server support is required, and training is provided where necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and develop intranet applications utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 (soon to be 2013).
• Work closely with departments to develop prototypes and mock-ups of sites and applications for review.
• Design user interfaces, custom designs, and web parts for SharePoint sites that are intuitive for use, creative, and support business needs.
• Create Sites and Site Collections while working on overall look and feel.
• Manage CSS styles and master pages
• Work with departments to address all web content creation and updates for display on intranet sites.
• Develop solutions which provide benefits for the end users and suggest and update creative page designs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 3 years of experience with SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer designing operational SharePoint sites
• Experience in custom SharePoint solution development using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with developing prototypes and mock-ups
• Experience with user interface design, XSLT, CSS, ASP.NET, HTML, Master page, and page layout technologies preferred
• Knowledge of taxonomies, site design, and navigation principles and best practices
• Must be proficient in MS office products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Photoshop, Silverlight, or Flash experience preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer designing operational SharePoint sites
