6 months to Contract to Hire

 

Need GC EAD, GC and Citizens

 

Rate: $38/hr on C2C

 

FUNCTIONS:

  • Formulate, document and execute test to verify accuracy of reported fixes, product enhancements and new products. This involves test planning and test cases/script creation.
  • Review and analyze validity of test output and script results to ensure tests are completed as expected.
  • Establish, coordinate and control timely test activities for all implementations.
  • Monitor and perform regression testing on applications as well as client specific files.
  • Manage and resolve test IR's by gathering critical information needed for problem classification, and retest within appropriate guidelines.
  • Audit the script development process to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Create documentation of new procedures or modifications of existing procedures to capture new development activities and provide continual process improvement.
  • Communicate effectively, create strong relationships, and work closely with offshore vendor partners.
  • Create detailed QA and/or UAT cases and data to validate the quality of the application.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and isolate problems encountered during QA or UAT efforts.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing test results.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years of professional product/application testing experience in an IT environment.
  • Must be US Citizen or perm resident/green card as these roles are expected to convert to perm after the initial 6-month contract phase.
  • Experience facilitating test strategy creation, test planning/execution experience, risk and issue mitigation.
  • Experience creating test cases from requirements, including user-based tests and validation of use cases.
  • Ability to participate in multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Able to interpret general business documentation, design specifications, system flow diagrams, and analyze the results.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Job Streams, Applications, Masterfiles and Subsystems desired.
  • Knowledge of mainframe batch and online processing.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodology.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
