HP Unix Consultant

Location : Plano, TX
Duration : 6 months

 

Skill (Primary):    Systems Internal & Storage-HP – UX

 

Experience:    9-11 Years

 

Job Description:

  • Knowegde of HP Entry, Mid-Range and High End servers  

  • Configuration and Administration of nPars and vPars  

  • Operating System   

  • Upgrade the OS, VxVM, VCS using offline and Live methods  

  • Operating System Hardening  

  • Knowledge on iCAP,TiCAP, PRM, WLM  

  • Build knowledge of atleast one cluster tecknology (Sun/Veritas Cluster)  

  • Good knowledge of Scripting (Bash, sed, awk and expect)  

  • Deployment of atleast one Centralised Authentication Service (NIS, LDAP)  

  • Network Administration   

  • Configuration and Administration of various Infra Servers (DNS, Sendmail, NTP, DHCP, SAMBA)

  • Soft skills, Process and Compliance for all levels   

  • Good communication  

  • Customer intraction and gathering information  

  • ITIL Awareness
