Hi Everyone, this position with our direct client just came out and I need help finding candidates who would be a fit. All candidates must have GREAT COMMUNICATION skills and SOLID WORK EXPERIENCE. CORP TO CORP IS O.K. for this position but candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.

 

 

Location:  Melbourne, FL

Duration: 6+ months

Rate:          $72/hr Corp to Corp

 

This is a senior level contract systems engineering position within the CNS Traffic Surveillance Software Group in Melbourne, Florida. The selected candidate will review and develop systems and software requirements, tests, and traceability for Traffic Surveillance applications. The role is highly dynamic, often requiring coordination among various subsystem teams and rapid resolution of technical issues that arise.

Fundamental development and verification activities are as follows:
•Review software and system verification test procedures to ensure that requirements tests are complete and robust.
•Review traceability from System tests to Software requirements to ensure that tests are complete and correct and that DO-178B objectives are met
•Update traceability and requirements as needed
•Ensure the projects defined processes for development, verification and configuration management are followed and that they comply with the recommendations of RTCA DO 178B/C

The selected candidate should have experience with most or all of the following areas:
• Direct experience with one or more of the following is required: DO-260B in, DO-181, and DO-317
• DOORS, ClearQuest, Clearcase, and Subversion experience is required
• DO178B/C development processes and qualification experience is required
• Formal Peer Review tools such as PREP
• Lab and test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
• Prior experience with automated test procedures using JavaScript and/or LabView

Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering or science field, and six years of related experience
