Job Title: DevOps Architect with Java + AWS

Location: Remote (CST Time Zone)

Position type: Long term Contract

 

Job Description:

Act as a single point of contact for all development and maintenance initiatives

Work with Program stakeholders to maintain and prioritize a backlog of development, and engineering process works

Provide business and technical strategy, solution development, and technical guidance to the Offshore development team

Solutioning in optimization of AWS services with respect to security, performance, and cost

Be the champion of the integrations and cloud and AWS culture and be the change agent to help foster a cultural shift in the software delivery process

Monitoring tickets and tracking changes to facilitate the agile process leveraging the toolsets [Jira/ServiceNow/Other]

Facilitating the development process and operations for the enhancement and changes

Identifying setbacks and shortcomings

Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development

Designing efficient practices, coding guidelines, and templates

Managing and reviewing technical roadblocks for the Offshore team
