Job Title: QA/Quality Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid Model – 3 Days On-site a week)

Position Type: Long term Contract

 

Job Description:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
8+ years of relevant work experience
Detailed understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment, Test Automation and cloud deployments
Service API/Kafka Testing experience is must . Hands-on on Postman/Swagger is value add
UI test automation is must . Protractor /Selenium is must have.
Non relational /relational database skills preferred on MongoChef.
Languages - Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
Knowledge on different automation Framework - BPT, Keyword driven, Data driven, Hybrid PageObject Model
Understanding of Git version control including branch strategy. Familiarity with GitLab, GitLab CI and Jenkins for CI/CD
Ability and confidence to peer-review code for quality, cleanliness, and general best practices.
Desire to work closely within an agile development team, but also collaborate regularly with other test engineers across projects to mature testing practices. Experience testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end connection testing including testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS
Excellent communication, time management, problem solving, troubleshooting skills and desire to acquire knowledge for any assignment (tech, product and process)
Should work in hybrid mode ( 3 days from office)

Project Administrator: Experience/Skillset

0-2 years of experience working as a project administrator
Maintain and update project plan based on direction from the Project Managers
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Update Risk and Issue Log as per the directions of the Project Manager
Distribute status reports, manage feedback and consolidate updates
Take direction from Project Managers and document follow up activities
Schedule meetings and working sessions based on the inputs received from the Project Managers
Understanding of Project Life Cycle
Minimum requirement of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field"
