Hybrid: Candidates MUST be local or relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays. Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. 

 

Position Description:

 

The person selected for this role will work directly with the Michigan Department of Education's Office of Financial Management (MDE, OFM) and DTMB grants developers to create repeatable reports in Excel that MDE submits to the United State Department of Education (USED).  These reports need to be created following USED specifications to report money spent related COVID 19 and the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER).

 

The ideal candidate will have tested experience in:

 

Database architecture

Data Reporting

Advanced T-SQL

Developing data driven applications

Leadership

 

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

 

Experience in the IT Profession, in any role - Required 6+ years.

Developing Systems with Microsoft SQL Server database - Required 6+ years.

Experience writing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views - Required 6+ years.

Experience with API / WCF Web services - Required 3+ years.

Experience in creating reports with Power BI or SSRS - Required 3+ years.
