Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)

Position type: Long term Contract

 

Job Description:- 

At high level: The candidate should have about 7+ years' experience in product ownership and a strong background in SAFe Agile practices. Functional knowledge and experience with AWS and cloud technologies along with a demonstrated ability to support multiple products

Responsibilities

Lead the product vision and cloud strategy

Create and communicate clear product roadmaps aligned with overall business objectives.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Prioritize and plan features and enhancements using SAFe Agile practices.

Stay up-to-date with AWS services to make informed decisions and drive innovation.

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch support.

Conduct retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.

Apply release management best practices to ensure smooth product deployments.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in a Product Owner role or similar position, with a strong technical background.

Strong expertise in SAFe Agile practices and methodologies; prefer to have SAFe Agile certification

Understanding of AWS cloud concepts and technologies, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambdas, RDS, and more.

Proven experience in supporting multiple cloud-based products simultaneously, optimizing for AWS cloud resources and cost-effectiveness.

Familiarity with Jira/ Jira Align and collaboration tools like MIRO

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including cloud architects and developers

Demonstrated success in creating and executing product roadmaps.

Adept at translating business needs into actionable product requirements.
