We are looking for a Production / E2E Support Analyst with strong experience in HPE NonStop (Tandem) environments to support mission-critical OLTP applications.

 

 This is a front-end support role, working closely with development and backend teams to resolve end-to-end (E2E) environment issues impacting client testing and production cycles.

 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TACL, Pathway, Enscribe, Guardian/OSS, and solid exposure to Unix/Linux operations, batch processing, and root cause analysis in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

🛠️ Required Skills (Must Have)

HPE NonStop (Tandem) – TACL, Pathway, Enscribe, Guardian/OSS

OLTP application support experience

Unix/Linux commands, shell scripting, vi

Technical Operations / Production Support

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Batch processing & monitoring

Strong communication and incident escalation skills

 

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills

AIX / Linux operating systems

Awareness of AWS environments

Programming exposure: C, C++, COBOL, Java

Databases: SQL/MP, DB2, Oracle, RDS PostgreSQL

Mainframe exposure: MVS/zOS, JCL, CICS, TSO

Tools: Control-M, CA-7, CA-11, NDM, ServiceNow/Moogsoft

Emulator tools: Rocket Emulator / BlueZone

Monitoring & Ops tools: OPSMVS, SYSVIEW, NETMASTER

Documentation tools: Confluence

Collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams

 

 

 

🎯 Roles & Responsibilities

Provide front-end E2E support, working with development teams to resolve environment-related issues

Perform root cause analysis, first and second-level investigation, escalation, and resolution of batch and process failures

Ensure E2E client SLAs are consistently met

Act as an escalation point for complex production and client issues

Coordinate with backend teams to monitor E2E batch flows, ensuring timely processing

Implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring batch job failures

Monitor transmissions and perform file replays/retransmissions as required

Initiate bridge calls involving multiple application and support teams

Promote critical issues to Incident Management when production is impacted

Page application teams for batch abends and failures

Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery testing and release implementations

Provide training and mentoring to junior team members

Flexible to work additional hours/days as required
