Duration:Long Term(Need EAD /GC)

Responsible for:

1. Upgrading database from Oracle 9i, 10g to Oracle 11gR2
2. Migrating database across platforms
3. Installation, Configuration, and Management of Oracle Enterprise Manager
4. Identification and Tuning of Complex Performance Issues (CPU, Memory, IO)
5. Scripting and Deployment of RMAN backup script on AIX platform using CommVault
6. Qtrly patching of 500+ Oracle databases
7. Data migration using Data Pump
8. Leading a group of 30 DBAs (offshore team)

Desired:

1. Knowledge of Oracle events such as 10046 and 10053
2. Understanding of AIX 6.1 and HP-UX 11.23/ 11.31 from DBA perspective
3. Understanding of database Characterset and charaterset conversion
