Job Title: Sr. Java UI Developer

Location: Dublin, CA

Duration:  6+ months

 

Requirements:

  

Seeking two experienced software engineers interested in a career in the desktop and mobile application composition platform space. 
Job responsibilities:
• Design and development of an application builder, UI composition frameworks and mobile applications to enable development of Enterprise 2.0 applications and content driven solutions.
• Duties include requirement review, architecture design, system design, code, unit testing and integration.
• Work closely with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases
• Work with an international team in various time zones

Education/Work Experience
• MS in CS or a related technical field and 6+ years of application software development experience or BS in CS or a related technical field and 8+ years of application software development experience.
• Total of 8+ years of Java software development experience.

Required
• Strong familiarity/experience with ExtJS, Javascript, CSS3 and HTML5
• Working knowledge of data structures / databases / operating systems
• Working/developing complex Algorithms and Object Oriented Design
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired
• Experience with REST/Web Services or XML development
• Knowledge in Application Server/Web Server and J2EE
• Practical experience with Java, Eclipse and SWT
• Knowledge of GWT
• Demonstrated product experience with iOS, Android and/or mobile device development
• Experience with Maven and Spring
• Practical experience with Agile/Lean software development methodologies, design patterns and architectural patterns.
