SQL SSRS Programmer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Candidates must already be in Atlanta, manager will not look at out of towners)

Duration: 6+ months

 

Phone Interview followed by F2F

Required Experience:

 

HEALTHCARE

Bachelor's degree

3 years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer

3 year experience using C#

2 years experience using SSRS or comparable reporting tool

 

Job Responsibilities

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. SQL Engineer. 

Responsible for loading and maintaining of reference tables, and processing of large datasets to create Normative data and performance benchmarks. Maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012 databases environments.

 

Responsibilities:

 Maintain C# and SQL code for process automation and business logic. 

Troubleshoot system issues and resolve or recommend solutions.

Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures.

Create patches and updates as needed.

Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Design, setup and administer large databases in the 1 TB+ range.

  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with healthcare related data (claims and billing, healthcare informatics, inpatient and outpatient data), HIPAA requirements and statistical programming preferred Team player yet able to function independently with minimal supervision. 
• Highly organized and able to create repeatable processes that are error-proof and fully documented.
• Knowledge of MS-DRGs, APCs, EAPGs and Hospital Revenue Cycle Experience with SSAS, MDX queries and data modeling Experience with Integration of SQL with C# for process automation Experience with package scheduling, replication, backup and database partitioning Excellent problem solving, data collection and analytic skills.  Ability to identify data anomalies and suggest corrective courses of action.
• Use of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server within an Agile development environment a plus.
• Demonstrated technical skills with sound oral and written technical communications Able to communicate effectively to non-technical audience both verbally and written Possess a majority of the skills in project management that are recognized within the Business/Department unit Demonstrate ability to research relevant topics and develop work plans Participate in required and recommended educational and training opportunities
