Job Description:

 

·         The Data Architect will need to be able to do hands-on work in the ETL tool (SSIS). 

·         The Data Architect will work with the Ciber team to discuss models and also work with OBIEE Developers to ensure that we have the optimal solution for reporting and adhoc areas.

 

Requirements:

• SSIS - must be able to create the staging/landing structures in Netezza and also create an ETL job. The Data Architect will work with the team to test interfaces.
• Must have hands-on experience building structures specifically for reporting. The Data Architect must understand how an OBIEE modeler will work with the physical model and reform the OBIEE model.
• The Data Architect must be able to help Ciber make decisions on modeling for particular use case requirements, i.e. do we flatten out structures, how far can we normalize or flake dimensions and still guarantee performance with Netezza.
• Must have experience designing/architecting Information Flows.
• Must have a traditional data warehousing background (Oracle, SQL Server, Informatica, OBIEE).
• Agile experience is a plus.
