We are looking for a Functional testing (Mainframe) Consultant support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is a 3 - 6 months Contract extendible Position based in TORRANCE CA

 

Role: Functional testing (Mainframe) Consultant

Location: TORRANCE CA

Duration: 3 - 6 months Contract (Extension Possible)

Experience : 5 years

 

Job Description :

 

·         At least 5 years of experience in Mainframe testing & STLC (Understand Testing requirements, Develop Test strategy & Test plan, Review test scenarios & scripts, Prepare Test Closure report,  Defect management)

·         Good knowledge in Mainframe technologies – JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC and tools like File-Aid, Changeman

·         Analysis of business requirements

·         Co-ordinate Reviews with Business SME/User

·         Prepare / review Test strategy, Scenarios, cases & Results

·         Communicating status to business team

·         Attend defect triage calls

·         Manage risks & issues closely
