Job Overview: 

Senior Full Stack Java Developer with experience in commercial software development. Having passion for building awesome customer experiences leveraging the Java technology stack for clients. Working in an environment where customer focus meets global scale.  

Looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated and passionate Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our Application Development and Management (ADM) Global Practice. As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will be working on designing beautiful and modern portal experiences as well as developing microservices for our clients . This position is based out Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. 

  

Job Responsibilities: 

 

·         Design and develop complex integrated web applications and microservices leveraging Java technology stack including Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Open API, NoSQL etc. 

·         Good hands-on experience of front-end technologies such as VueJS, Typescript, NPM/Yarn as well as proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 

·         Experience working with AWS and Azure DevOps including setup and support. 

·         Experience with REST and Microservices API design 

·         Delivering a complete application with performance and security in mind  

·         Support, maintain, and debug existing applications 

·         Develop, code, and document additional modules and interfaces to existing applications 

·         Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop 

·         Write unit test plans and provide coordination and support of testing using different tools 

·         Complete technical documentation and training material 

·         Lead a cross functional team of developers, designers and testers including 3rd party vendors in designing and building complex web applications  

·         Collaborate closely with team members in an agile environment (we like Scrum, Kanban) 

·         Identify problem areas in code and suggest solutions on how to tackle them 

·         Participate in defect triage meetings 

·         Provide technical direction to testing team members to adherence to coding, quality, functionality, performance, scalability and on-time delivery standards 

·         Billable Expectation for this role is 100%
  

Job Requirements: 

 

·         University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, with greater than 12 years of relevant work experience. 

·         Web development experience, including Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (frontend and backend), VueJS, Typescript, NPM/Yarn, REST/SOAP, AJAX, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, OPEN API,Maven, OpenJDK 

·         Working experience with MongoDB and CosmosDB 

·         Working Experience with Kubernetes, Openshift, Graphana, Terradata, Docker Compose,Docker 

·         Object oriented programming (Java). 

·         Experience with development of Single Page Applications and Microservices 

·         Created rich user interfaces 

·         In-depth technical knowledge of operating systems, including primarily Windows (Linux is a nice to have). 

·         Experience following the iterative and agile SDLC and working in a DevOps/Agile environment (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT). 

·         Development techniques, such as debugging, testing, coding, use of productivity tools. 

·         Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices including security considerations. 

·         Experience developing test cases and test plans, unit-testing. 

·         Experience managing complex clients in the past 

·         Proven track record of establishing strong customer relationships 

·         High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage fuzzy situations 

·         Hands on experience with cloud environments is desirable. 

·         Cloud Certification – AWS DevOps Associate/Professional Certifications preferred
