Role:- Data Engineer (Security)

REMOTE / open ended contract

Duration:- 6+ months  

 

 

 

looking to hire a couple dynamic hands on ETL Developers/ Data Engineers (Security) to join their talented Data warehouse team for a long term open ended contract. The focus of the work is on securing PII information in the system for customer data. The general skillsets we are looking for is Data Engineers well-versed in PII and security-centric projects. You will work closely with the data modelers, data analysts, and QA team to ensure that the data is properly loaded into the ODS

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years' experience performing data engineering with auditing, security, privacy focus. 
• Deep experience with data security protection use cases (tokenization, masking, redaction, encryption, etc)
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, Python and AWS security architecture (GCP/AWS)
• Familiarity with common identity, authentication, and directory services such as Active Directory
• Strong data manipulation and data analysis skills
• Ability to work both independently as well as a team
• CISSP, CCSP, AWS Cloud certification desirable
• Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous and detail-oriented
• Must be a strong problem solver, critical thinker, self-motivated and possess integrity and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently on concurrent tasks and adhere to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to meet high expectations for precision and accuracy and have a high degree of initiative and intellectual curiosity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develop routines to manage PII information in the databases.

·         Create reconciliation processes to ensure data is masked, obfuscated, encrypted and in sync throughout the systems.  

·         Create error handling, logging processes, audit, PII assessment for the databases

·         Build authorization frameworks to provide fine grained and data centric access controls

·         Work closely with the data modelers, data analysts, and QA team to ensure that the data is properly protected
