Job Description:

The work is on supporting analytical data platform built on IBM Infosphere Streams. 70%  on-going multiple applications support, investigate production issues related to data or/and platform issues, do production deployments, implement workarounds and participate in developing new features for 20-30% of time.

Engage and actively participate in production events, monitor system health and alerts, proactively identify issues and bring them to resolution..

• High Proficiency in Scripting, such as Shell/Perl/AWK, etc…
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications troubleshooting, including data, performance and network related issues
• Experience with distributed enterprise processing systems
• Strong knowledge and 3+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux based systems troubleshooting
• Experience with Microservices architecture, Kubernetes.
• Development/Support experience with C++/Java enterprise applications
• Passionate about engaging with new technologies.
• At least 3+ years of proven experience in software development and support
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under stressful environment
• Ability to support flexible hours

 

Good to have (not mandatory):

• Work experience with Redis and Cassandra
• IBM Infosphere Streams previous experience
• Knowledge or experience working with one of the public cloud providers ( AZURE, AWS).
