Project Manager - URGENT!!! - State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF)

Duration: 24 Months,

Location:Montery Park, CA, pleasanton,ca, or, vacaville, ca

DESCRIPTION:

NOTE: Local candidates preferred. Face to face may be required.

OVERVIEW

This engagement is to provide consulting services and support the State Claims Medical Reimbursement office. 

This individual will be responsible for providing project management services with implementing Utilization Review Decision Manager and Claims Examiner functionality to the existing Smart Advisor implementation. 

This individual is expected to understand the goals & objectives of the group, provide strategic recommendations, and act as a mentor to those in the group. 

This engagement is expected to start as soon as possible and last six months with a possible six month renewal. 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate must possess the following requirements:

• PMP certified

• 6+ years of project management experience

• Previous experience in the health, insurance, or workers compensation fields

• Project experience in vendor bill payment is preferred

• Project experience in systems automation or automation projects a plus

• Highly motivated, enthusiastic

• Excellent communication, writing, and oral presentation skills
