Detail Job Description:
The Business / Data Analyst in the Partner Data Management (PDM) department will support the team to ensure data is processed accurately per business requirements. If issues are identified, root cause analysis and data remediation will be performed. A primary focus of this role will be to determine the root cause of prepaid radio subscriptions not being activated in the automotive channel.
The Analyst will be dealing with all aspects of our, end to end data processing. The emphasis is on data completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, accuracy and intra-system and inter-system data flow controls. Analyst will participate in investigation, root cause identification and remediation of affected data/processes in the partner data framework. Analyst must have the ability to handle several major projects simultaneously.
Position responsibilities:
· Work with internaland external team members to identify potential data anomalies and at-risk processes.
· Research data anomalies in complex business systems, develop audit reports, provide reports and recommendations for correction of data, and develop business and technical processes to ensure data integrity.
· Provide data quality assurance through routine check-ups of pre-existing data fixes and audit reports.
· Formulate remediation steps needed to correct data issues.
· Remediate data issues identified.
· Maintain remediation documentation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
· 5+ years of experience in a high-volume subscription-based or data-intensive business
· Business / Data Analyst background.
· SQL Skills is a must.
· High Comfort level with various database systems and analytical tools such as Teradata, SQL Server and Cognos.
· Demonstrated Data Quality analysis skills.
· Strong knowledge of Excel and Visio.
