SQL Server Developer – Herndon VA Max rate 50/hr

 

KEy skills for this 6-9 month contract role with possible contract to hire in Herndon are experience with LARGE datsets (multi-terrabyte), NOT focused experience in Report Development (SSIS, SSRS, etc) but rather true database development and T-SQL skills. Comm skills do not need to be great. H1 is fine. Client will phone screen ASAP and will hire non-local off of skype.

Celcite Management Solutions provides wireless consulting services & customized network performance tools to wireless operators throughout the world.
We are recruiting an experienced SQL Server Developer to work on an innovative application which delivers intelligence and drives the optimization and improvement of wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will participate in the complete Agile software development life cycle and will be expected to analyse and understand complex requirements, design, develop, implement and test multi-terabyte SQL Server solutions which process and report on billions of rows of data.
Education & Experience

Required Skills

·  4-7 years SQL development experience.

·  4-7 years of expert level experience designing data models, writing queries and developing complex stored procedures and user defined functions for SQL Server.

·  Significant experience analysing, tuning and optimizing the performance of complex T-SQL queries on large data sets.

·  Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements and deliver reliable, scalable, tested solutions.

·  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

·  Experience with agile methodologies.

·  Strong written and oral communication skills.

·  Formal education in database theory. A Bachelor degree is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

·  Experience with Visual Studio and .NET.

·  Experiences with source control systems.

·  Experience with SQL Server Integration, Analysis and Reporting services.

·  Experience with spatial data.

·  Experience with wireless (GSM/UMTS/LTE) technology.
