Role: Cognos Solution Architect or Solution Architect - BI/Data Architect/Data Integration lead

Duration: 4 Months

Location: Alameda CA

 

 

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in Cognos planning using TM1 and be a Certified TM1 developer
• 5+ years experience in the development and production support of Cognos BI solutions
• 5+ years experience creating multidimensional models/cubes using Transformer.
• 4+ years experience creating metadata catalogs, models and packages using Framework Manager
• 4+ years experience in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using Cognos Report Studio

 

 

Cognos Architect

 

"Must understand the fundamental concepts and architectural paradigms of DW/BI. Must be a seasoned professional with numerous projects successfully completed.

Specific skills and attributes for this position include:

- Strong, current technical architecture skills

- Strong conceptual and analytical skills

- Strong decision-making skills

- Overall understanding of potential data warehouse architectural approaches

- Complete understanding of Cognos architecture and expertise in Cognos TM-1 (•          3+ years of experience in Cognos planning using TM1 and be a Certified TM1 developer)

- Skilled in technical architecture design / Skilled in database design

- Data modeling and Integration Specifications

- Functional knowledge of the Financial and Integrated planning and Forecasting domains

- Ability to assess and translate requirements captured from stakeholders into functional and technical requirements that the proposed solution can deliver"

•5+ years experience in the development and production support of Cognos BI solutions
