Role Description:
Design, develop, and configure software systems to business requirements and high level design
Experienced developer with knowledge & experience in Informatica including ETL and workflow. Technical knowledge of database design and modeling, knowledge on any of the reporting software (Hyperion, Crystal, Cognos etc…). Interaction with business team for data discovery and analysis. Need to have strong experience in PL/SQL and Oracle background
Required Skills:
Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle db experience, strong analytical and problem solving skills, experience in db administration and data warehousing; strong communications skills; ability to translate data to charts and graphs for business use. Strong experience in DB partitioning, performance tuning and PL/SQL.
Nice to have Skills:
Telecommunications & networking experience; business exposure
Responsibilities:
Completes technical development tasks pertaining to applications
Configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains program code and applications to support business processes and functions Create design documents for ETL solutions; calculate storage requirements for capacity planning; performance tuning for existing ETL jobs, design and develop Informatica mappings, mapplets, worklets and workflows; write SQL queries for views and for Informatica mappings to gather operational data;
