Location: Fort Worth, TX

Cognos /SSIS Developer for one of our clients.

This candidate will Design and develop Cognos reporting solutions using the Cognos suite of tools for version 10 to meet release and project requirements 
Provide production support for Cognos version 10 environment
Design, develop, and support Cognos Framework models in version 10
Strong SQL skills including ETL
Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies / environments
Proven ability and desire to both estimate tasks and meet deadlines
Work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment
Ability to transform business requirements into deliverables with minimal supervision
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

 

Minimum 5 years experience utilizing Cognos Business Intelligence Suite in version 10 required
Minimum 5 years with business intelligence design, development, testing, and data warehousing concepts - data modeling and analysis required
Excellent communication and client skills 
*** SQL Server SSIS and Oracle PL-SQL skills ***
Exposure to creating Cognos cubes, Transformer models and Analysis Studio cubes a plus
