Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 3+ Month

 

•Multi-node Cluster setup and support
•Standards configuration
•Database consolidation based on dimensions of isolation
•Run application compatibility testing; upgrade where appropriate
•Documentation of new processes / creation of Run Book
•Establish and maintain project communications through the Client Project Manager
•Work with the Client Project Manager to address pending issues.
Prepare and submit status reports to the Client Project Manager
Scalability Experts Resource Skill Set
•Clustering experience – 4-5 Years
•Knowledge/experience with TDE and column level encryption
•Knowledge/experience with page compression
•Solid SQL Server 2008 R2 with knowledge of SQL Server 2012
•Experience upgrading SQL Server (2000, 2005) to 2008 R2
•Knowledge of Veritas Clustering a big plus
•SSIS skills a plus
•Strong experience troubleshooting complex T-SQL statements
