Role: ETL Architect/Developer
Location: Detroit, MI
Project duration: 6+ Months

 

Job description:

Skills and Experience required for this position include the following:
· A minimum of 7 years of related experience developing Informatica Mappings
· Informatica 8.6.1 and Oracle 10g Data Warehousing experience
· Performs analysis that is diverse and very complex and works independently under general direction (i.e. writing queries)
· Ability to provide subject matter expertise on Informatica 8.x development
· Ability to support more than one ETL project at a time
· Strong knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing (ETL, Data Analysis, etc.) concepts
· MUST HAVE exceptional SQL capabilities using SQL Developer and Toad. SQL competency will be tested during interview
· MUST HAVE strong communication and documentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
· MUST HAVE strong development backing in Informatica 8.x.; Candidate should be able to describe best practices in Informatica development
· Good understanding on testing principles, concepts and tools
· Experience with Defect Tracking tools
· Experience with writing test documentation (plans, test cases, status report), executing test cases and identifying defects

 

Required skills/experience:
· 3-5 years of development experience with Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange

 

Duties / Responsibilities:
· Collect user requirements
· Review existing systems code and documentation (where applicable)
· Plan, analyze, design, construct, test and implement new data feeds
