Test Automation Engineer with Java/Selenium
Baltimore MD
6+months contract

Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Professional Skills with 5+ years' experience:
• Selenium
• Java development background
• CVS/Unix
• Agile background is a plus
Potential Candidates must have end to end testing experience in writing and executing both automated and manual test cases.

The JAVA Development background skills associated with this position (Preferred but not required):
• Understand Object oriented design principles
• Knowledge of and Differences between: Abstraction, Encapsulation, polymorphism, and Inheritance
• Explain the concept of a software design pattern
• Experience creating class diagrams
• Experience creating sequence diagrams
• Java Keywords:
• return, static, new, protected, package, import, class
• Java Concepts/Terms:
• JavaDocs, main, method, type, JVM, JDK, Bytecode, Annotations, Generics, Autoboxing, JavaBeans, Immutable, Stacktraces, constructor, default constructor, properties, state, stateless, classloader, return, property, parameter.
• Other Java/Object Oriented Concepts:
• Class, Object, Casting, Events
• Mocking vs. stubbing
• Able to create DAOs
• Dependency injection (design patterns)
• Version Control (design patterns)
• Experience using Spring Framework

The Optional MAVEN skills associated with this position:
• Developers understanding of Maven
• Difference between a dependency and a transitive dependency
• Difference between a local and remote repository

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
