Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

3+ years of real-world experience developing mobile applications on Android   platforms with Java.

Solid working knowledge of associated development environments: XCode, Eclipse or Visual Studio.

Experience with networking, storage, and User Interface frameworks, multithreading, asynchronous programming, design patterns, web services and RESTful APIs.

Experience with deploying an app in the App Store, Google Play, or the Windows Store.

Demonstrated ability to identify resolve real-world problems and develop technical solutions.

Must be self-motivated, versatile, and have an ability to multi-task in a fast paced and constantly evolving development environment.

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Suites

Previous Project management experience a plus

 

Design and develop mobile apps for customers to run on Android handsets and tablets

Develop and track software development using AGILE/SCRUM methodology as part of a small software development team.

Provide technical expertise within project teams and work closely with various teams including Product Marketing to prototype, refine, solidify and adequately document requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise both in quality assurance phases and after production launch, and ensure ongoing operation of the apps on new versions of mobile operating systems as they are launched.

Document results.

Will be a member of a cross-functional project team.
