Required skills

- Advanced Javascript & CSS skills

- Expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, HTML5

- Ability to write front-end code using current standards for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. 

- Experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, JSP

- Familiarity with JQuery, JQuery UI, or other javascript libraries   

 

Summary of Job Function

In this role the developer will work as a member of a cross-functional development team including members from a User Experience group, Product Management, and Quality Assurance to deliver working software for a data-driven, dynamic website. The developer will work closely with the UI-Development Team to ensure solutions meet site standards.

 

Desired skills

- Demonstrated ability to develop sites that conform to WCAG 2.0 A & AA accessibility standards 

- Experience with agile development & iterative design

- Experience with OOCSS framework, design patterns, Responsive Web Design

- Experience with Git version control 

- Experience with Drupal development

- Experience with XML & XSLT
