Role:- QA Test Engineer

Location: Remote to start be eventually onsite in Denver, Colorado, Santa Rosa, California, or Wichita, Kansas

Duration: 12 month contract need :- GC/USC

Description:

Job Duties - The QA Test Engineer is responsible for the development and integration of the Association's enterprise application systems. This includes proprietary enterprise applications designed and deployed in-house as well as third-party applications hosted externally. As part of the QA Test Engineering Team, this position is be responsible for software testing design, planning, automated scripting and execution for our Data Warehouse application. The QA Test Engineer works closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.

Experience, Education, & Training -

• BS in Computer Science or BA with equivalent technical competency 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical data analysis, data warehouse and API testing experience
• Technical background and an understanding of the finance industry preferred
• Excellent knowledge of software testing lifecycle and the associated deliverables
• Excellent knowledge of relational database applications (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL Query language)
• Proven ability to define, develop and maintain automated test cases with automated testing tools (QuerySurge, ReadyAPI Pro)
• Proven experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS
• Able to review system and functional requirements and extract data to use in preparing automated test plans and scripts
• Knowledge of testing/development concepts and industry trends for cloud technologies
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex and diverse projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines
• Proven understanding and experience with Agile approaches (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to software testing
• Software testing certification is a plus (ISTQB Software Tester Certification, Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE))Knowledge and understanding of project management tools and duties

·         Azure DevOps experience a plus
